The most characteristic of Inconel 601 is its resistance to oxidation at extremely high temperatures up to 1250C, even under delicate conditions. Because Inconel 601 has a tight oxidation layer, it can prevent spalling.Good carburization resistance, also resistant to carbon conditions.Besides, good resistance in oxidizing sulfur-containing atmospheres at high temperatures due to high chromium and some aluminum content.
